The impressive array of restaurants in Long Beach
As the second biggest city in Los Angeles County, Long Beach is often overlooked and perpetually underrated. It lays claim to L.A.’s only officially sanctioned dog-friendly beach, vibrant nightlife and an increasingly impressive array of restaurants. And it’s only getting better.
Creative Southern eatery plating an all-day menu in a circa-1920s Craftsman bungalow. The Attic is one of the most popular brunch spots in Long Beach, and home to the Mac N’ Cheetos, a dish that tastes much better than it sounds

It’s not just the pizza that matters, but it’s also where you eat it that counts. Pizzanista!, the Los Angeles-based “beacon of celebratory, imaginative, unpretentious dining,” has landed in Long Beach as its latest haven for serving thin-crust style New York pizza without the attitude.

Besides offering pizzas for delivery, carry out, or dine-in, they sell huge, delicious individual slices of their basic and a few specialty pizzas. Very spacious location with outdoor and indoor tables and a friendly staff that welcomes a short or long stay. Free Wifi and the indoor tables have electrical outlets. They also sell beer and wine. From the resaurant perspective, phenomenal. Had the brussel sprouts as an appetizer. I’d never think they could be so good. The beef cheek was fall if the bone and the ingredients perfectly complimented each other. The price is up there, expect $40-50 per person, but for a nice date or night out. I’d highly recommend. Beautiful location especially at sunset..truly spectacular! Always love the pretzel. Greek chicken wrap was not a good as previous visits as it had pungent cheese that didn’t taste like feta..more like blue cheese. Veggie burger was very tasty although last time it was cooked longer resulting in a better crispy burger taste. The place filled up! The service was great and drinks excellent. Every hour is a Happy hour there..always a fun experience. Definitely a comfortable go to hangout! (BALLAST POINT LONG BEACH)
I have eaten in many seafood eateries around the world and Roe Seafood has the freshest seafood I have ever eaten. Their service is above any expectations I have had. The atmosphere is classic sea faring attitudes with a modern twist. The artwork is decadent and fun. The food is so fresh and something for everyone. It’s a MUST stop and have some food place (Roe Seafood)
